Having had the privilege of listening to a Crack/Speedball amp for a while before building the Mainline I felt that the upgraded Crack sounded very good and a good basis for this comparison. I ordered the Speedball upgrade kit and will complete it this weekend. I have found that when I place my hand near or on the power switch, the pitter-patter noise disappears, but it comes back when I lift my hand. You don't have to be perfect on the resistor value, just close. But beware that it has an output impedance of like 100 ohms .I've been using the base model Crack with HD600s.
